Thanks. We aren't actually "translating" any documents, individual words and phrases have been pre-translated, we just need to select the correct language version to insert into our templates. I think you are right that the module is restricted. It only seems to work in a Suitelet or Portlet, but not in a Scheduled Script or Map/Reduce. I will probably continue with globalizejs, as I already have it working.
