I am trying to pull the "asset account" field from the item record in a search but I am just getting the partial name "Inventory(ITAKits)" instead of full name as shown in the picture. how to get the full field text of the field in my search ??

Any chance this is just a user preferences issue? Check the Defaults section and see if those 3 checkboxes are unchecked.
