Hello, Folks - Created UE Script on JE location field to remove mandatory, while it's loading.. I'm able to to remove mandatory on entry but while saving record, it's still asking Location..

or

Locations are mandatory on all lines of the journal entry.

If "Make Locations mandatory" on Accounting Preferences is checked you can't create any transaction without location filled

Can we override through Script ?

I wouldn't think so.

I don't think so... I guess the only "extremely bad solution" is turn off through script , save and turn it on.... but there are some impacts on financials

Are you saving the record via script? If yo are have you tried setting the

ignoreMandatory

(or something like that) option to true
