Does anyone know if there is a programatic way to add custom portlets to a center dashboard?

@Neat Unity I know how to create a portlet. But I would like to automatic add it to a dashboard without the user having to manual select it

When you publish a dashboard, all of the users that have that Role will have the same exact dashboard. There are a few caveats - one of them being that if they had any other portlets/custom layouts/etc. they will all be wiped and be given the dashboard that you create.

Hmm no in my case I am looking for a way to ship my dashboard (at least as inital config) with my bundle to third party Netsuite customers. So I don't think publishing is an option. But it seems like what I would like todo is just not possible

Ahhh okay yeah I think you're right - publishing doesn't sound like it would cut it for your purposes.
