Allow Override

under

Setup > Company > Setup Tasks > Auto-Generated Numbers

Thank you @michoel I set up the override however the number had already increased to other numbers but the duplicate numbers remained how do i change the number since it wont alow change on edit mode

I guess you would have to temporarily allow override to fix it
