Personally I would probably just go for a seperate subtab and saved search because that's probably the most performant option

that's what i had in mind. until you introduced me to adv item loc. and made me want to try it. exciting and scary.

Haha! We have a couple of custom fields that I've duplicated for each location from before that feature was released, and it's on my bucket list to tidy it up but I really need to think through all the ramifications
