Ive got a parent/child relationship between 2 custom records. On the parent I have allow child record editing = true and I can see the child record. The field explorer shows nothing and you can't get a line count using suitescript and the recmach id. Either I am going insane or I missed a config because i should be able to access it.

You should be able to get line count.
