I am referring to the customer / client frontend for checkout, etc... not the admin backend. I just want to increase it to a few hours or longer than 10 minutes, not get rid of it entirely

yep, it’s the same answer as Michoel, for SiteBuilder, SuiteCommerce, SCA - PCI compliance. No settings to change it.
