Hi, I am trying to set a custom checkbox on item receipts. I receive “The G/L impact of a transaction in a closed period cannot be changed.” on some of them. I am not changing any amounts.. it’s been working for like 80% of all old transactions in closed periods, even closed years. What can cause this?

@Jesper M My guess would be some script is triggering. try disabling all scripts\workflow on the record and try again for the same receipt. If it works, you know its some script.

do you have non GL change permissions for closed period
