it depends . If you have your rev rec coming from SO then you need to create your RetAuth from SO; if your rev is coming from Invoice - from invoice

or a combination. The RA will close the unbilled SO and offset the Rev Rec. However, a CM might be needed on the Invoice if any refund is required.
