But, if you don't have access to one of those, it has gotten much more difficult to obtain one of the developers accounts without joining the SDN. I don't really understand that, as it sets a high barrier of entry for someone new who wants to learn about Netsuite and might eventually contribute a new app to the platform someday. Salesforce.com will let just about anyone get a developer edition
