@ehcanadian i ran into this and decided there wasn’t actually a way to trigger it from the WO so i attached the UE to the SO. it’s not great. you’d need to limit based on event type/etc too.

Odd, I tried that but I was not getting a value for woid. It's when the SO is created too.. I thought maybe the WO is done in beforeSubmit, but no go.

interesting. the customer in question was using approvals on SOs, so they were created in ‘pending approval’ and the approve trigger was what was generating the WOs. it’s totally possible it wouldn’t work if the SO is starting in pending fulfillment though i dunno.
