Hey all, I have worked with Netsuite for going on five years now. I wasn't hired as an administrator, but basically self-taught myself most things in the UI (general administration, workflows, etc). The last piece is suitescript. I can modify basic 1.0 scripts, adding an if statement or what not, but have no background in programming. (minus that C++ class in high school 20 years ago). If I really want to learn SuiteScript better, what should I do? Take a javascript online course? Thanks in advance.

I took the SuiteScript 1.0: Extend NetSuite with JavaScript online training and it gave me a solid background to do my current job. I had no SS or NS experience before ( I was a web developer previously ).
The reason for taking that course first was all the scripts at my current job are all 1.0

I have a free email course that walks you through several resources to get you started with SuiteScript: https://stoic.software/learn/
I also have a youtube channel with instructional videos here: https://www.youtube.com/c/StoicSoftware
and if neither of those are your thing, the best thing you can do is learn JavaScript
and there is also https://leanpub.com/netsuitedevelopment by @mattdahse

@TwoStep Personally I would start by installing NetSuite: Search Export chrome extension. Basically after buildinga saved search > you need to save it > then on the saved searches upper left you will see export as script
it will show you the javascript code on how to build the search
pretty useful for learning searches in suitescript

Thanks @Rani I actually do have that and found it useful already. :)
