has anyone automated inventory details on transactions? how do we loop through the serial/lot number drop down list? if you require say 10 quantities and one of the serial no does not have 10 quantities, you would need to check the next serial no and see what's available, how do you check the next serial no?

im under the impression that serial numbers are unique

and are physically present on the item you are shipping

normally I see serial numbers entered on fulfillment, since what happens is that someone picks the item in the warehouse and then enters the chosen item's serial number into netsuite somehow

entering it earlier means you are choosing which serial number to ship, which must suck for your warehouse
