Does anybody else use jQuery UI? Seems like NetSuite broke something - its failing to initialize now everywhere that I've been using it.
b
I'm also experiencing the same issue
j
It seems that NetSuite support is working on some performance issues which might be related. Sticky inputs, slow UI, and text boxes showing raw HTML. Things like CodeMirror undefined and such. Give it some time.
m
Thanks for confirming
j
Seeing the same thing on na3 data centre.
t
seeing the same on na1
any fix for this
m
i filed a couple of support cases.
got a response on one that there's a U1 defect (highest) and they're working on it.
j
Thanks for filing the case and reporting back to us all
n
anyone have a link to the U1 defect?
w
Assuming it’s related but I’m having some issues with DataTables today that weren’t happening yesterday! Getting a
jQuery().dataTables() is not a function
error
j
Defect 533355
Defect 533207
j
Are these defects for the Mismatched anonymous define issue?
b
Just got off a call with NetSuite support. This issue is currently affecting records with 3rd party library scripts attached to them e.g Datatables, moment, jquery-UI etc

j
Yup. Unfortunately, their own functionality like changing a sublist page uses jquery...
j
Yeah some of my users are unable to click to change subtabs on certain records right now
j
Some newer customizations I've done using bootstrap instead of jQuery work 😂
r
I occasionally get issues with define not being defined and there was an issue with require.js on RP last week.. i have a feeling its all related and jQueryUI is not being loaded correctly
d
That's funny ... https://status.netsuite.com/ reports that everything is just fine!

NA1, Library File was removed from a client script.
I added it back and the script worked.. Not sure what NetSuite did to lose the reference, but these scripts weren’t updated.
d
Looks like it's getting this error: mismatched anonymous define() module
Anyone have an update on this?
j
Support told me that a fix was done , testing was being completed and to verify resolution in the next few hours. That was shortly after 4 PM eastern and the fix has not yet propagated to our account.
d
Thanks John. I've got multiple clients with this issue.
j
At this point seeing a lot of activity in General channel about issues I don't know if they're related bottom line there is seriously something broken on the UI end
m
I've had to go through each library file and remove references to 'define()'
what a shit-show
j
did that work to resolve it for you?
Just got up 6:30 am eastern, had an email from NetSuite at 3:30 am saying engineers are working on a fix for defect 533522 and still no resolution.
w
I got this too, they’ve suggested logging out and back in, clearing browser cache or using a different browser may result in an improvement, but nothing concrete
m
yea they fixed one or two instances of the problem. the email WYSIWYG editor is fixed, but many scripts are still failing to load.
