I have a vague recollection that we can show the field name to the left or right of the box (where the value gets entered). Is there a preference for that? Default is that the field name is above the box.

Its funny you should mention that. I thought that you could as well. But I searched for the option and I couldn't find it. If I find it I'll let you know (maybe its been deprecated?)

I'm pretty sure what you're looking for is the

Horizontal Labels

option under

Setup > Company > General Preferences

.

Thanks Nathan. I think you're right... but I could have sworn it was a setting at field level... but maybe not - I'm getting old.

As far as I know it's all-or-nothing account-wide, which is unfortunate - I'd love to be able to set it separately at the form and/or field level but that doesn't seem to be an option.
