My Company is looking to have credit memo approval. Looking into this NetSuite does not have this and a lot of recommendations are to use RMAs. Has anyone done something different than RMAs for approvals?

You can create a custom transaction of type sale. Then do an approval workflow on that transaction. When approved use a workflow to transform into a CM
