We are diving into the huge task of converting our datasource from NetSuite to NetSuite2. We have run into two issues with our custom integrator role (setup for NetSuite ODBC connector). 1. You have to add all custom tables to the role to be able to see those tables in NetSuite2. This was not necessary with NetSuite. 2. The data shown in tables like SystemNotes is restricted to the user logged in. We are not using an admin role so that's not the issue. Haven't figured this one out yet. 3. I read we should use the Data Warehouse Integrator role but I cannot copy that role or add users to it. Is it only meant to be used with token based authentication?

Hi, you can assign the role at the employee record level. We’re already on NetSuite2 but as of yesterday we are having issues with the connector. Even though 2FA is not required on the role in NS (and hasn’t been), PowerBI is giving error saying role with 2FA cannot be used. Might you be seeing something similar? When we switch to a non-SSO role it works fine but like you said, the tables are not available.

I am not able to assign the role at the employee record level because it doesn't show in the dropdown list of roles to assign. Is there something else I need to do to enable that role? Our integrations role is not SSO, although our user roles are. So, it seems what you are finding is that permissions between SSO and non SSO roles are different? That is just so odd.

we’re thinking/hoping it’s on the PBI side; did you give the user the SuiteAnalytics global permission? odd it doesn’t show

It's me, I did add the global permission but the role still doesn't show. Yet another little thing to try to troubleshoot. :)

it’s always something, good luck!
thankyou 1

@Ondina Sturges One more thing - did you have to purchase the Suite Analytics Warehouse to use this role?
o
Hi @Jeanine Scott, sorry for the delay! Yes we have Suite Analytics Warehouse
