Anyone know if there are audit logs for SDF Account Customizations that are done from the IDE? i.e. When I update a file, custom record/field I want to be able to see the who/what/when
e
You'll see changes in the system notes
e
you can also see the Deployment Audit Trail in NS
d
Is that the only place?
e
but the Deployment Audit Trail is just literally what you see in the IDE (when you validate/deploy) - the output is saved in NS
d
copy-to-account audit trail if found there too. But I'm looking for more logs from the IDE push to NS. We have a situation where I need to verify somehow if someone has performed updates "without logging in"
e
Yes, exactly; just today, I copied a field down from a Production site to a Sandbox environment - and it is found in the Deployment Audit Trail in the Sandbox site.
that said, i believe there would also be a “login” attempt via token recorded in the login audit trail. you mentioned “without logging in” - but you would notice the “login” via that Login Audit Trail. I believe. There is a Token-based access token name, and token-based application name that would appear for such “logins”
e
Yeah, and that page will bring you to the system notes search showing you what changed
d
OK. This helped a little bit guys, thank you. I created a custom saved search that shows the TBA Name and application. This does show in the login audit trail and it does filter down to the system notes when clicked as to what was changed.
