Hi Everyone, we are having trouble. There is an item in our system that's showing at a location as quantity available 1, but we don't have that item available at that location. I want to reduce the quantity available by creating the Inventory Adjustment record but on the Inventory Adjustment record when I enter quantity as -1 it asks for the Inventory Detail, and in the Inventory Detail the Status field is showing empty which is blocking me from adding this inventory adjustment, Does anyone know how I can fix this and add the Inventory Adjustment?

Does your location use bins? If so you may need to use the bin putaway worksheet to put it in a bin and then remove the inventory

@Matt King This location does not use Bins.

Do you know when that qty first showed up? It might be because a transaction added the inventory do to a credit memo or vendor credit done out of order

I created a saved search of all transactions related to that item and from that particular location but I did not find any credit memo or vendor credit against that item.

It also could have to do with a transaction being deleted

@Matt King yes it does have uses bin checkbox checked. But I tried to uncheck this and still it didn't work

hmm. not sure. What bins does it show on the inventory detail page? As weird as it is what if you created a bin and used the bin putaway worksheet to move it to that bin. Then do the inventory adjustment?

The location does not use bins. On location record, Use Bins is unchecked.
