Does anyone know is the "clear" button on the Match Bank page will have any implications? I am looking to clear opening balance journals, so they don't have corresponding bank entries as the reconciliation was done in the previous software, before migration. But these journals just sit on the match bank page. If i was to clear all of these, what effect would this have? Thanks!

as far as I know the Clear box just tells the recon page not the show the item. Its Says "its clear, don't ask me anymore question about it".

"clear" is to clear the checks, then you reconcile on the reconcile account statement the cleared checks.
