Update. Main problem solved . By design it gets set to preferred bin. Now need to find solution to auto set quantity. Question. Config/script? to default to preffered bin when peforming inventory adjustment and clicking inventory detail ?

Doesn't really help in your case but there is a setting in accounting preferences to Use Preferred Bin on Item Receipts

If I recall, you can add a client script to a custom form which runs when this pop-up is loaded.. then you can set that form as preferred so the script runs on load.

Suitdev, thank you. Will look in to that. Atleast hoping it will help set the quantity to reduce manual work. I just figured by design the preferred bin is set by default as long as item record has the setup. So actual concern solved. But now the quantity needs to defaulted too. Hope your suggestion works.
