Recently, NetSuite has been urging us to upgrade to the Enterprise edition due to our parent company’s workforce exceeding 1000 employees. However, I’d like to share some crucial details: ◦ Historical Employee Count:In 2018, when we initially subscribed to NetSuite, our total employee count was 1600 (1000 from the parent company and 600 from our USA operation). ◦ Currently, we have approximately 900+150 employees. ◦ Parent Company Usage:Our parent company has never utilized NetSuite; it’s exclusively our operation. ◦ License and Requirements:We have 45 users with a 50-user license. ◦ Multi-currency support is not necessary for our operations. ◦ Negotiating Contract Terms:Has anyone successfully negotiated to remain on our current version until the contract expires in February 2026? ◦ NetSuite is referring to the 2018 contract terms, but subsequent contracts do not mention affiliates. ◦ They seem to be leveraging the 2018 agreement to escalate costs. ◦ Exploring Alternatives:Considering our situation, what might be a preferable alternative to NetSuite?
