I used to go do that back in college but it was always a pain in the ass. You had to wait like 30 min to get a refill on shrimp.
s
Last time I did that was in San Diego 2013, had about 48 shrimps (8 servings)
c
That's the way to do it.. go in hungry and leave with some shrimp pasta and bread

In my younger years I had lot of AYCE buffet experience, one time one of my buddy who was 6' 11" tall and basketball player and us went to an all you can eat lobster place and he was kicked out after eating 18 lobsters (in Denton TX). I my hometown of Montreal we used to go to an AYCE Chinese buffet chain over 150 items and gobbled up shrimps, crabs, steaks and seafood until they used to close the buffet line (no carbs). Good Ol dayz. šŸ£šŸ¤šŸ¦šŸ¦‘

@Sam-I-Am What is the reality of income taxes in Canada compare to the USA? If I use these: • Canada: https://turbotax.intuit.ca/tax-resources/ontario-income-tax-calculator.jsp • USA: https://smartasset.com/taxes/income-taxes I don't see any big difference.
s
There are not much differences as people thinks about higher taxes in Canada than the US. Main differences are the Universal Health care, property taxes and universal child tax benefits+daycare subsidy. In USA you have to shell out a big chunk your income on health insurance and Co-pay, in Canada you are covered. Parents get monthly payments based on the family income for each child between 0-18, for lower income families it can be a significant boost (5-6K per child per year). Also property taxes are significantly lower in Canada - as an example I pay about 3K in taxes for my house with a market value of 2.1 Million CAD (real estate price have gone skyhigh šŸ˜ž ) in Vancouver area (one of the most expensive places in the world), whereas my tax bill for a 340K worth investment home in DFW was $4200 last year. So you do the math
c
It's 10k-12k/year around here for property taxes
