Does anyone know if there are any other identifiers for Custom Segments other than
internal ID
? Ie, external ID, another type of internal ID, etc.
s
If you created it after 202o it should have be named as cseg_segmentname
f
But what about an ID as an integer?
s
Id of record?
f
custom segment
This is why I'm asking. The custom segment itself has an internal ID of 1. But on our middleware that connects Netsuite to all of our sales channels, the mapping states that the internal ID is actually 902, which makes zero sense to me... I'm just trying to see what other numerical identifiers there are for custom segments. It's so damn weird.
(and that mapping with the internal ID as 902 actually SOMEHOW works)
s
Ignore internal Id of custom segment 902 is a list value under that segment list.
Treat them like department, class and location.
f
sorry, what do you mean by that?
So 902 is the ID of the list within that segment?
s
Yes
f
But it's not tho lol 😭
s
Internal id of the list value.
f
902 doesn't exist within any list value 😕
Any other ideas?
Anyone know the answer to this?

I have a Custom Segment (Channel). In the list of
Custom Segment
, it has the Internal ID of 3 And it goes to app/common/custom/segments/segment.nl?id=3 But inside that URL, it shows that the Custom Segment has a
CUSTOM RECORD TYPE
That
CUSTOM RECORD TYPE
has its own ID 1665 and points to app/common/custom/custrecord.nl?id=1665
So I can have a Business Unit element, lets say "Lending" that has an internal ID of "7" that is inside the segment Channel of internal id "3" that is a custom record of internal id "1665".
If you have an integration record with the external system, you can see the Request and Response.
The request would be interesting
