We've recently renewed our license with Oracle NS, but we've now been informed via email that Oracle has discovered through audits that XXXX US is a subsidiary of a larger company (The XXXXX Co., Ltd.). These audits assess various systems with access to data like employee count and annual revenue. It's important to note that our parent company doesn't utilize NetSuite; they have their own country-specific software. How do we justify this sudden 50% increase? Has anyone else encountered a similar situation?

So you signed a contract already, and Oracle will charge you 50% more AFTER the renewal was already signed?

And just curious, whats the employee count that triggered the change? More than 1K employees? 5K? More?

We signed a contract and one month later were told, by the same account manager that just put through our renewal, that we triggered a mandatory tier upgrade at a cost of $200k on top of the contract. Oracle really is the worst, and I am not surprised by your dilemma.

Your parent company should have nothing to do with your US renewal. Sadly. I am not shocked.
