CSV import question: trying to import inventory count date, inventory count interval, and classification so I can get our team ready to do an inventory count. CSV import is successful but none of the item records update with this information. I’m using import type Supply Chain and record type Item Location Configuration. Any tips?
t
This should be an update on the item record?
a
Yes, under Purchasing/Inventory.
t
So why are you doing the import type Supply Chain?
a
I started with Items first but the “Location” fields are no longer available. I think with the recent update they changed where this data lives.
t
Make sure it's an update not add.
a
Right! But for some reason I don’t have Item - Location in my list.
t
This is set up like this?
a
Yes
t
Do you have multiple locations?
a
Yes
t
Does that bar scroll down or show more if you (ctrl + -) zoom out
a
Nope, that’s the bottom.
Weird right?!
lol

Doesn't look like mass updates are an option. I'm not sure why your locations aren't showing up.
a
Appreciate you trying!
n
Have you recently Enable Advance Item Location Configuration?
a
Nope, it’s been on for a long time.

Okay, I can't say for certain as we've not enabled that feature in our account and trying to parse NetSuite Documentation is challenging at times. I read Suite Answer 90154 is to use a Supply Chain - Item Location Configuration import to activate the Item - Location Fields for the locations. Then you cold proceed with the regular Item - Inventory Item import to set the date, interval, and classification.
