I ultimately decided against going down the Boomi route which I think was the far better choice wrt development time - the main point the client stressed was that they could potentially be able to look at the boomi diagrams and have an understanding of what's going on compared to looking at code, but I felt like the added abstraction and the length of time to learn the ins and outs of Boomi combined with the possibility of not being able to apply what I learned to future projects greatly favored not choosing Boomi 🙂
