Sales Activity by Customer w/ SuiteQL
Curious if anyone has attempted to recreate a version of the Sales Activity by Customer report (found under Reports -> Pipeline Analysis) using SuiteQL. This report is one of the only sources that combines both Activity records (Tasks, Phone Calls, Events) and Cases and Message (eMail) records on one report.
The only way to combine both Activity / Case / Message data via a saved search is to start at the Customer level and use the provided joins ... but its a bear to run and typically times out even if run on a schedule. Has anyone created similar with SuiteQL and if so, how is the performance? The need is based on analyzing Customer "touchpoints" (ie activity / messages) over a period of time and compare that to certain revenue metrics. Thanks!
