I'm actually running into the same error but slightly different case. The above solution doesn't apply to me (I think?) because I'm inputting the file URL directly rather than using a data source. Anyone have any other suggestions?

This code is almost identical to a SuiteAnswers (37162) so I'm thinking maybe it's just a defect that I'm getting the XML parse error - but thought I'd see if anyone has some suggestions faster than my case will be reviewed. Unfortunately my code has to stay in 1.0 for right now, but if the way to resolve it would be to convert to 2.0 that's still valuable info (if you happen to have experienced the same issue &amp; resolved by going to 2.0).
