Bit of a shot in the dark here: if I wanted to automate standard cost rollup and revalue when an item is created, is that even possible via suitescript? Haven't found documentation so far on scripting standard cost functionality (outside of inventory revals)

thsi is the tough part that should have been solved a long time ago.

I would love to have any actual additional information on this and in general standard costing for multiple level BOMs using Advanced BOM. Our client has several levels and the costing is inaccurate in NetSuite.
