Makes sense. I dunno if I have any good ideas, other than something like a workflow which "fires on" any change of any record, and calls a custom-workflow action which then sends your object out (versus, a tail-end UE script.) This idea seems clunky; but also seems like it would clearly separate the "CSV Import" context out of the question.
