In an after submit, I think I would do it using a search. those are custom records {customrecord_pacejet_package_info} . I'd do a search for that record type using the field {custrecord_pacejet_transaction_link} with the internal id of the sales order and then grab what I needed from the search results. (I've never needed to do this but I'm thinking it would be the cleanest way.)
