Hi guys , In sales order for line level items when does the tax amount and gross amount get calculated for each line items??

when you enter the line item..

I checked the so in XML mode there s no value

perhaps the item is not taxable

It has a tax code with 0.0% rate*

Tax is calculated during the submit process(probably before submit) of the SO. It is not calculated/reflected as each item is added. Once you save the sales order, it populates the standard taxtotal field only then.

If the tax code rate is 0%, then the tax amount will be 0 also
