That happened to me a couple of times, I think I narrowed down the issue to being, I had previous versions of Eclipse on my computer, not sure if I used the same installation folder or not. But, I found every Eclipse folder that I could and deleted them, I deleted the eclipse folder that's in my home folder ( C:\Users\Me\eclipse ), I deleted the .eclipse folder from my home folder ( C:\Users\Me\.eclipse ), I deleted the folder in AppData ( C:\Users\Me\AppData\Local\Eclipse ), and I made sure to delete any shortcut that was on my desktop and in my start menu. Then I re-installed and it worked fine.
