TIL that this does *not* work; I had been assuming it would:

I can't verify this right now, but if my memory serves providing the empty string for the record ID has worked for me in the past.

redirect.toRecord({
  type: r.Type.SALES_ORDER,
  id: '', // empty string
  paramters: ...
});
```
