@irurzo You will need to attach a client script to the form, then add your buttons, normal buttons no submit buttons because if you have two it does not work well... Or you can make ur submit button change when the form have the sublist with the results... For example you render the form on GET and pass as a parameter searchResult object to the renderForm function...of the search result is empty you add the button with Label: Perform Search, if the search result have data you add the button with the Label: Filter Results...basically is the same one Submit button that would change the label... You countrol that in the Suitelet side using context.request.parameters.submitter which is going to hace the Button Label and base on that you do different actions if the button clicked was Make Search or Filter Search...
