Hello, We are going through some changes and we will need to renumber our COA's, rename Departments and consolidate few departments. • Is it possible to merge Departments? Thank you in advance.

Ideally once you have closed all the active transactions belonging to those 2 or more departments. You can then inactivate the departments. Then create a new department. Update the new department of all the employees/customers/whatever else is required. Any active transactions that you can't close due to any business reason, on those transactions only you will need to update the department.
