Building a custom html dashboard on an external suitelet. Is there a way to prevent the html from inheriting the netsuite css styling?

You can add a CSS reset from bootstrap or similar

Been a while since I built one. If you're not using the `serverWidget` module, the styles still get inherited?

I am using `serverWidget` to set the html element for the page

That would do it; the NetSuite components are going to contain NetSuite styles.
