Does anyone know if there is a way to see an audit trail of everytime NetSuite performs inventory costing recalculations?

Hi Jackie - Can you generate a saved search on inventory cost revaluation type transactions to give you a list when they are generated? They take a long time!! and you may want to group somehow so that you are not getting a transaction by item but the transaction in total

@Cindy Vindasius Great to hear from you again! I don't see that as one of the transaction types I can create a search on

Oh Yeah - you are on average cost - correct? How are you getting a ping to Inventory cost valuation if you are not on standard? Are you looking for data everytime your average cost changes?

@Cindy Vindasius Yes but don't need it anymore! Found some old assembly builds that were incorrect regarding component consumption and was trying to figure out if updating them would affect the cogs on item fulfillments and indeed it does!

Boom - yep - any receipt, workorder, transfer to another location or other type of "inventory in" transaction will cause a cost change - especially if inventory has gone negative 🙂
