Hi everyone, I am encountering the following naming error when trying to update my CoA GL Account external IDs to match the account number: 'The account name you have chosen is already used. Go back, change the name and resubmit.' I am importing as an "update" and only mapping internal ID, external ID, and number. Any ideas why it might be erroring out? Thank you!

You must have two accounts in your COA with the same name. Check your account list and also show inactive accounts

@MGBC I don't, they are all unique names. There was one that errored out and I had inactivated an account earlier and put an 'x' in front of the name, so it is still unique... I'm not sure what's going on

It may also be validating the external ID field. make a saved search with all current external ID's and make sure none of them are duplicates of the ones in your file. Or update all current externalIDs to something very unique like xxxxx1, xxxxx2, then re-update with the external ID's you want
