Does anyone know of a way to detect a change to an address on a vendor record? I was trying to workflow it so we could mark it for re-approval but it appears that as long as the user doesn't make the change directly to the address it doesn't capture it in the system notes. I think the only method may be SS, but I was trying to avoid that if possible.

IME sort of, but not really. The address field on the header level of the vendor record does reflect in the vendor system notes, but I believe that's only the default billing address, so if another address (e.g. the shipping address) on the vendor record is changed, then it doesn't show there. And although the address record type is exposed to system notes, it doesn't seem that any changes/results actually get recorded there, so seems pointless to have it there TBH. Not totally sure I'm following what you mean by directly to the address. I'd also be interested, if you learn more details around this or come up with a clever solution, but happy to share anything else I know in the meantime if it'd be useful.

Yea I found exactly what you are saying. It's only captured if you are changing that specific billing address. However I found out it's pretty easy to bypass. Users can create a new address and then just assign it the billing default or just change an existing address and then assign it the default.

doesn't that replace the address in the header level tho?

Yea sorry so that does and I can capture that in a save search comparison, but it's not captured in the system notes. The system notes seem to only capture changes to the current billing address.
