I even added the dummy sublist they detail

It's not clear from the example what it's supposed to do but I draw your attention to the highlighted items in this screenshot, maybe it is working just not as you (or I) expected:

Yeah I saw someone post its supposed to be the header value on stack overflow or somewhere but mine isn't doing that either. I see that the example works but it seems like mine mimics all the sublist types and fields and even the dummy stublist but isn't working. I dont have an error message or any feedback as to why

Appreciate the attention given, I ended up just using a body level field and client script to calculate the total. Mine also only adds up selected items so its more visible and more useful for my specific need
