I know in the EU there was an issue with the Amsterdam data centre that lead to them finding an additional issue with excessive logging. I have zero idea if it's related but wouldn't be surprised if "fixing" that issue caused them to bodge up the logging elsewhere in the system. (and yes I'm aware most you are Stateside but hey throwing it out there as a point of interest!)
