I have a client in Australia who is looking at implementing NetSuite WMS and they just got the Implementation quote from Oracle Australia for over $54k (excluding licencing). they only have 1 location, 4-8 warehouse staff (seasonal). There is no customisation scoped, and any pdfs generated will be post WMS go live. Their main netsuite account has been up and running for a couple of years. Does $54k sound excessive? It does to me.

You should look at RFSMART

Extremely excessive.
They give it away for free in the US a lot since the product has a bad rap.

And regarding the above about RFSmart, it's a good product but may be overkill for that size of a warehouse/company. However, telling Oracle that the client has become interested in other options because of the price may wisen them up

RF Smart have pretty poor representation and customer service in Australia. Speaking from another client's experience. A client of mine implemented RF Smart and their primary consultant who'd worked with them throughout, decided to take a holiday (with no notice from RF Smart) on the week of their "Go Live" and didn't handover anything to anyone else. Left the client in the lurch. Subsequently I had to jump in an assist wherever I could, which wasn't great since I don't know all the ins and outs of RF Smart.

I agree $54 sounds very excessive. Are they asking NetSuite to do all the data cleaning/uploading or something? Usually NetSuite won’t do that but when they do it’s usually at a premium price
Also I agree RF smart may not be as much to implement but the license cost are much higher than NetSuite wms.

That’s wild. I just signed a 3yr renewal with RFSmart WITH shipping, 5 locations, 12 handheld licenses, for less than your estimate.

My client's quote was in AUD

Still less, after conversion.
