I have a version of that one... but not that one...
s
I think I need to see it in person because 49” is huge
n
Nice, but at that price I'll stick to my 2 x 27" monitors 🤣

You get use to it… I use it for work, not gaming, not worth it for gaming in my opinion because you will soon find out there are no many games with Wide Screen support…

I have 2 27” 1440p but I want OLED now
c
I use 2 34" ultrawides. I have the Alienware 34 LED and QOLED (the quantum dot one). I tried the samsung 50" 3440x1400 but had to take it back because the curve was way too intense for me
a
BTW I went with this monitor because I use a Macbook Air, I would go or keep multiple 27” over a single display any day(for work).
s
I heard the QD-OLED is really nice
c
nicest monitor i've had. It will bark at you after like 4-6 hours of use that it needs to do a pixel refresh sometimes but other than that it looks great
k
love it

2 x 32* 4K monitors, its awesome. You can have 4 windows open on each monitor and each window is about the size of a laptop screen (in pixels).
s
I ended up getting the same one as @creece the oled Alienware 34”
I almost got the LG C3 42” though
c
how are you liking it?
s
I like it but I think windows HDR sucks
I even turned on my RTX HDR because I have 40 series card and it still looks washed out
I set the screens smart HDR to true black
c
yeah same
yeah HDR from windows is meh but it looks amazing with games. I'm running 2 ultrawides .. the older led alienware and the oled
s
I still have my 27” IPS and I’m thinking about connecting it again just for productively stuff
I’m not too worried about burn in though
c
haven't had any burn in issues w/ the oled
s
Are you doing those pixel refreshes every 4 hours?
Well after consistent use
c
when it prompts me i do it but it doesn't do it often it seems
You can turn it off in the monitor options as well
s
I think I’m going to set it to do it on standby mode
c
i believe thats what i have it set to
