Hi - We have ARM and I have a scenario in which I am migrating an existing customer to a 5 year license software model (previously month to month). As part of this, we want to migrate existing widgets to this license model and recognize revenue over 5 years for their existing widgets (e.g. units purchased July 2022 will have their rev rec start in July 2022 and end 5 years later, units purchased in September 2023 will have their rev rec start in September 2023 and end 5 years later). I know that I can create separate line items on a sales order with different, backdated rev rec start/end to handle this, but I would like to issue a clean invoice to the customer for a single line item because the separated line items will be confusing. Is there a good way to do this? Thank you!

i think the best practice is upsell, co-term. don't have contract renewal module access. can't tell what mouse to click.
