hey again all. i've used workflow.initiate and passed through the workflow id, the sales order id and the type of sales order. i get back a workflow instance id, but when checking the records, nothing is actually happening. i also dont know how to view any details on the instance id

Have you checked if the workflow has any conditions or if it is set to execute on a specific execution context?
