02/28/2024, 10:37 PMi worked for a software startup. the parent company suddenly got invested by private fund and started to buy off competitors. there were like 15 subs in 10 countries. in the end, if the company needs to merge into one, it has to consolidate domain/email infrastructure first. probably Microsoft 365, or google workspace. if subs continue to operate their own domains, no way to get other systems consolidated.
