Does anyone know if there is a way to setup SSO using SAML for more than one IdP?
e
I don't believe it's possible since you have to upload the SAML file into NS for the specifc IdP you are using.
k
That was also my assumption.
This company has multiple tenants using different providers.
l
isn't the point of single sign on.... "single"?
k
LOL, yeah, but single in each location using a single IdP
One sign on for many applications in a single location.
l
all locations use a single netsuite instance?
k
Yes.
Multi-sub.
It would be cool if NS had SSO per Subsidiary.
l
maybe there's a "super parent" IDP technology available to consolidate?
i think it's an IT problem at higher level that needs to be addressed. outside NS scope. it's a prerequisite, tell CIO ball's on their hand.
k
Yeah, I think they should be able to figure this out for sure.
Thanks for the input.

i worked for a software startup. the parent company suddenly got invested by private fund and started to buy off competitors. there were like 15 subs in 10 countries. in the end, if the company needs to merge into one, it has to consolidate domain/email infrastructure first. probably Microsoft 365, or google workspace. if subs continue to operate their own domains, no way to get other systems consolidated.

They have two locations that share the Office 365 tenant and I'm not sure what the other stand alone location is using.
