Hi All, I have getting Record 'customrecord_record_Name' was not found, what role would I need to give the user to be able to see custom record? I gave them custom record entries full but still no luck
s
Select Access Type "Use Permission List" and stipulate the role permissions on the custom record's "Permissions" tab.

Gotcha

Users may need to log out/log in for the changes to be effective

@Stefan Reeder the record I am trying to edit seem to be locked
s
What buttons are displayed?
k
Only Nothing Else
s
OK, it must be part of a locked bundle or suiteapp
Can you screenshot the whole record page?
If they're locked by the author of the bundle you can't change the record definition

Editing roles allow you to add custom record permissions
You also can add the Custom Record Entries permission to a role, to provide users with that role access to all custom records. 1. Go to Setup > Users/Roles > User Management > Manage Roles, and select a role from the list. 2. Click the Lists subtab, select Custom Record Entries from the dropdown list, set the access level, and click Save. Users may need to log out and log back in for the changes to take effect.

i provided the user the access level of entries full but still no use
only the permission listed in the custom record can be used
s
Where did you add the access?
